Okay all....I am going to bust this cherry on the rifle thread. Gunslinger builds a great AR. This one is NOT one of his though...lol.
I have been guilty of hanging more nuts on my rifles than I need...so on this one, I decided to go pretty much back to basics.
I used a pencil barrel because I like a light, fast handling front end on a rifle. This becomes apparent when you're kicking down dope house doors. A light front end is GREAT.
Secondly, I decided against a tower sight, or a carry handle, and found this dandy rail mounted sight. It is lighter than a carry handle, but still full adjustable.
Third....I did a "rattle can" stock paint job. I found some RustOleum for plastic in matte camo, and after media blasting the furniture, I painted it, and then sprayed it with matte clear polyurethane.
The INFIDEL and PEW and NO PEW were done with my blaster, and my wife's stencil making CriCut....just for fun.
So...let's kick off this thread.
