Is this the new battle cry of this country? There was a time when we cared, and came to each others aid. We went to the Moon. We won TWO world wars. We have survived more terrorist attacks and come back stronger than any other coutry. We have survived the most loss of heads of state through assasination than any other Five countries. We honored our fallen warriors. We cut an Isthmus in half to make commerce and our military faster on site. We cured polio, smallpox, (and how many other diseases) and taught the world how to care for their children. We overcame (or out spent) the Iron Curtain. We helped those that couldn't help themselves. We were there when help was needed during tragic and terrible times.
Now all I see is complacency, indifference, and distraction.
Meh, I almost deleted this post due to a whatever, no one will care attitude.
Really, I weep for patriotisim, the "can do" attitude, and pride lost. Once we were great. __________________
